Guy Bluford

The first african american in space
Guy Bluford was born november 22, 1942 but his first ever trip to space was in 1983. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
He influenced not only space travel but that any race could go. He shouldn't go without notice because he changed racial equality in space.
Guy Bluford was an Air Force pilot in Vietnam before joining NASA in the 1970s. He went to space in the shuttle Challenger as a mission specialist. He went two more times to space and spent a total of 688 hours in space.
I was influenced by this man because i had never heard of him in my life even though he did such a big thing. I hope that i can change that and let people notice how important Guy Bluford really was.
